Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand is the state in India one can easily fall in love with. Popularly known as Devbhoomi or the land of gods, Uttarakhand offers limitless opportunities for tourism and adventure. Uttarakhand was formed on 9th November 2000 as the 27th State of India. It is located at the foothills of Himalayas and divided into two main regions, Garhwal and Kumaon. It is largely a hilly State, having international boundaries with China (Tibet) in the north and Nepal in the east. On its north-west lies Himachal Pradesh, while on the south is Uttar Pradesh.

It is one of the most diverse and serene tourism hub. The state has 13 districts.
